Cyber Talents | Raw Disk

I turned to binwalk for a deeper dive into the file’s structure, only to confirm its PNG format once again.

I called in the cavalry Foremost.

This tool is like the Sherlock Holmes of file extraction, and boy, did it deliver! It sliced through the PNG layers and voila extracted a hidden file.

Opening the extracted file, I half expected a prank or something. But there it was, plain as day — a picture with the flag I’d been hunting for.
